What Nyal Junior Saline Nasal Drops is used for:

Nyal Junior Saline Nasal Drops is a gentle non-medicated formulation that helps relieve blocked noses (e.g. caused from colds) in newborn and infants making breathing easier. The gentle formula will not irritate delicate nasal membranes and can be used as often as required.

How much to use:

Instill 2 to 5 drops in each nostril every 3 to 4 hours or as required.

Nyal Junior Saline Nasal Drops contains:

  • Sodium Chloride 0.8%w/v.
  • Benzalkonium Chloride as a preservative.

How to use Nyal Junior Saline Nasal Drops:

To instill nasal drops:

  1. Lie baby on his or her back and gently tilt head back. It may help to place a small pillow underneath shoulders for support.
  2. Remove protective cap. Squeeze 2 to 5 drops into baby’s nostril.
  3. Repeat in other nostril. Replace cap.
  4. Allow saline to thin mucus by holding your baby in the above mentioned position for one to two minutes.

Caution:

DO NOT: push the nasal aspirator into the nostril.

DO NOT: squeeze the aspirator when it is already placed at the entrance of the baby’s nostril.

Warning:

Keep the nasal aspirator out of reach of children at all times. Aspirator contains small parts which may pose a chocking hazard. Bottle should not be used by more than one person to prevent the spread of infection. Use only is cap seal is unbroken.
